We set off at 6.30am (I was very excited) and knew I would be stopping to take photos and to eat breakfast, which was a picnic of bacon and cheese muffins that my Mom made, it was a good job we took them as we were hungry about half an hour after setting off :)
The weather was lovely and the views along the way were beautiful.
We got to the Royal Welsh Showground about 9.30 and walked up to wait for the doors to open at 10.
I didn't take many photos inside...I was so busy shopping....but I did quite well at sticking to my shopping list and budget.
I loved the knitted garden display :)
And here's what I got......
Some Natural BFL Aran from Laal Bear for hats.
A hooded cardigan pattern from Woolyknit, I can't wait to knit this. It is made from chunky yarn so should go quite quickly
Decadence DK Merino and Silk blend, from bluefaced.com/ I'm not sure what I'm going to make with this yet.
A selection of needles.
A gorgeous batt and fibre from Sara's Texture Crafts.
More fibre from Mandacrafts.
The Toft Alpaca pattern book. Which has a gorgeous selection of patterns in it.
And some silk waste, I'm not sure what to do with this....I don't know how it will be spin, but it will be interesting to give it ago.
It was a fantastic day, with a great atmosphere, the people we met were lovely and the pancakes with cream were very tasty :) I can't wait for next year now.
Take care xxxxxxxx
